Wheal Jane Consultancy is managed by Dale Foster, an experienced mining geologist from Camborne School of Mines (CSM).
Having graduated in 1993 with an honours degree in Industrial Mining Geology from CSM, Dale is one of the most experienced metalliferous mine search specialists in the county. Over 18 years experience in mining and environmental services, combined with a keen personal interest in geology, mineralogy and mining history in Cornwall, make him a true expert in his field.
Dale researches and compiles mine search reports, undertakes interpretive inspections and designs, directs and reports on mining site investigations and mineralogical watching briefs. Being a holder of a confined space ticket enables him to carry out inspections of underground mine workings. He also performs mundic analysis and provides reports to specialist mundic surveyors.
Where possible, Wheal Jane Consultancy works closely with the other Wheal Jane Group companies to draw on expertise in most aspects of land and property, civil engineering, ground stability and contamination.
